By definition, wellness is ‘the quality or state of being healthy in body and mind, especially as the result of deliberate effort.’ What I like the most about that definition is that it doesn’t include or exclude any specifics. Much like the definition, wellness doesn’t include or exclude any specifics. What works for one person may not work for the next, and vice versa. Wellness is what you make it to be – whatever makes you your best, happiest, healthiest self. Wellness isn’t merely the absence of disease, it’s more – a mind/body connection.
What I love about intentional living is that it’s when you decide to make a conscious effort to live a life in accordance with your values. I find that once you decide to live more intentionally, you create a space to invite wellness and wellbeing into all aspects of your life.
