5 Books That Will Make You Want to Get your Sh*t Together
Below (in no particular order) are 5 books that will make you want to get your shit together. I hope these books give you exactly what you need to start crushing your goals and making big moves happen!

1. The Slight Edge
In life, we always think it’s the big, profound, defining moments that make or break us. The Slight Edge, written by John Olsen, teaches you how to have the upper hand in life by simply sticking to daily disciplines. Throughout this book he shows you the accumulated effect of the daily habits you create. Get ready to be inspired to take a look at your daily habits and how you can change them to benefit you in the long run!

2. Broke Millennial: Stop Scraping By and Get Your Financial Life Together
The saying ‘money can’t buy you happiness’ was coined to imply that wealth can’t replace true happiness from within, but there is a noticeable effect financial strain has on our body and minds. Whether you’re a millennial (or not), taking charge of your finances is something everyone should be doing. Erin Lowry teaches us that it’s never too late to take charge of our finances, and that it’s really a lot simpler than we think in her Bestselling novel ‘Broke Millennial‘. Stop thinking you can’t become financially stable and start taking the small steps (that she outlines very well!) to become the financially stable person you’ve dreamed of being!

3. You Are a Badass
This book is everything. I truly mean that with every fibre of my being! Jen Sincero herself has been through the wringer in life, yet she was able to turn it all around. From broke, struggling freelancer to 6-figure PLUS successful business woman, Jen takes us through the complete mindset shift we need to go through to ultimately get our shit together. You Are a Badass takes you through the process of shifting your mindset to elevate you in every way possible. An absolute must read if you need a kick in the ass to get moving!
Jen Sincero’s You Are a Badass at Making Money is another must read if finances are where you struggle most!

4. Rising Strong: How the Ability to Reset Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead
This list wouldn’t be complete without an appearance from Brené Brown! If you need any reminder at all to stay strong and brave in moments of doubt, this book is the perfect read. Rising Strong teaches us to get up after we fall and try again, another beautifully delivered message from Brené. Getting your shit together is no linear process and this book fits right in and serves as a reminder to keep going, brush it off and never give up!

5. The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing
I’m a huge believer in that your environment is an extension of your mindset. If your environment causes you stress, you’re going to have a difficult time tuning into the mindset needed to get your shit together. Marie Kondō walks you through the KonMari method to declutter, organize and find what does and what does not ‘spark joy’. I find with this book you’ll either love it or you’ll hate it, but as someone who believes there is a mindset-environment connection, I truly love the ‘Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up‘ and recommend it to anyone who’s trying to get sorted out and organized!
