Little Bit of Girlfriend Love
If you’re like me at all, I absolutely LOVE my girlfriends! I purposely surround myself with a bunch of kick-ass girls who support and uplift one another on the regular! I didn’t always have such an amazing bunch of girlfriends, but I’m so grateful that I found who I have right now. The best part about having such a great group of friends is that when it comes down to it, you know you can have the best girl’s nights!
You may just need a night in, or sometimes you’re looking for a night out. You may even be looking to try something new! Not calling myself the queen of girls nights, but I have a list of 10 girls nights you are in dire need of this year!
10 Girls Nights You’re in Dire Need of This Year
Below you’ll find my list of 10 girls nights you’re in dire need of this year! Grab a bunch of girls or steal your best friend for the evening and try one of these out!

1. The Classic Girl’s Night Out
This list would not even be complete without this on here! Grab your best girlfriends, get all dressed up and hit the town! Usually the best part of the night is the pre-game, so make a killer playlist and pump yourselves up! Some of the best nights have been out on the town with my girls! Pick a new club or bar you’ve been dying to try out and plan on dancing the night away!
2. An Evening of Pampering
Break out the fuzzy bathrobes, slippers and face-masks. Dim the lights, light some candles, slice some cucumbers, line up the nail polish and get to work! Wine is optional but highly recommended. Spend the night pampering yourselves from head to toe. Put on some soothing music or watch a movie. Create a mood that is mellow and relaxing. Take time for silence or catching up with your friends.
3. Wine Wednesday
My favourite night on this list! Where I’m from, a lot of restaurants do a ‘Wine Wednesday’ (half priced bottles of wine – even cheaper when you split it with friends!). Check your local restaurants for these kinds of deals (maybe not on a Wednesday) and head out with a few of your girls for a treat.
ALSO- DIY Wine Wednesday: Invite a few friends over and each bring a bottle of wine! Have an assortment of snacks as a spread, a few games and spend the evening catching up and chatting! (Check out here for 7 wines I absolutely swear by!)
4. Cardio Time!
A lot of the times I prefer working out alone, but I also enjoy working out with friends! Meet up at the gym, sign up for a new fitness class, or meet up to go for a run with your girls! Have fun, get your sweat on, and even participate in a little friendly competition! If you can, join a team sport such as baseball or soccer and then it’ll become a weekly thing!
5. TV Tribe
Whether you all gather to watch a show the night it airs, or tape it and save it for later, find a show you all love and watch it together! Pick one night of the week and camp out in front of the TV with snacks and enjoy! My personal favourite show right now is This is Us, however this would be awesome for The Bachelor as well!
6. Full on Goss-Sesh
Have your friends come over, pile onto your bed and just rehash the week. This can be so therapeutic to just vent and have your friends listen and agree! You’ll have the support from your friends and can additionally ask them for advice. Sometimes you need a low key night to sit and vent, and this is the perfect way to do it!

7. Concert Crew!
Decide to all go to a concert that you’ve all been dying to see! Dress up (themed outfits if you feel like being extra!) and spend time before the concert getting pumped up! Make a playlist of who you’re going to see that you can dance to while getting ready! (My personal favourite is going to country concerts because you can all wear matching plaid and cowboy boots!)
Concert hack: checkout Groupon for last minute concert deals at a discount!
8. Errand Run
Sometimes it’s just easier to bring a friend along to get a few errands done. This way you can finish of your list of to-dos without feeling bored or lonely. Hit up the coffee shop before you head out and cross things off your list like crazy! A little company may be the driving force you need to get a few extra things done!
9. Girl’s Night IN
Similar to DIY Wine Wednesday, but even BETTER. This is an all out, over the top evening in with your favourite ladies. Complete with movies, full snack spread, fun cocktails and a few games. Transform your dull Saturday night into an awesome night in (and definitely check out Pinterest for ideas). *Bonus points for making the dress code comfy attire*
10. BFF Sleep Over
Last but not least, have an adult slumber party with your BFF. Wine, movies, snacks, pjs…the works! Have your best friend come over and spend the night and just unload from the week. This one is particularly useful if you’ve had a stressful week and need some cheering up! Surrounding yourself with the people you love for a solid evening of comfort may just be the pick-me-up you’ve been craving!
I hope these ideas put a spark back into your social life and help you plan a few more girl’s nights in the future! Tell me in the comments which one is your favourite, or if I missed a really good one!

Wine Wednesday or a girls night in is def my jam with my girls! Loved this post!
Hey there!
My best friend and I will normally have either a goss/vent-sesh or run errands together. We both have busy lives as we both have kids and families. But we always try to have time together weekly and that is why we run errands together.
Good post love!
