In no particular order, I’m going to share with you 7 rosés I think you’ll enjoy this summer! Whether you prefer sweeter or drier wines, there’s something on this list for everyone.
You may notice a majority of these wines are from Ontario Wineries – this is because I reside in Ontario, Canada! In Southern Ontario (think Niagara-On-The-Lake area), the combination of the climate and soil conditions produce some of the most fantastic wines! There’s a reason this rosé is #1 in both this list and my heart! Created by Pelee Island Winery, the flavour combination of strawberry and blood orange cannot steer you wrong. I have yet to find a time, meal or place I can’t bring this wine!

2. La Vieille Ferme Rose Ventoux AOC
For those who love drier rosés, this one is for you! This is one of my favourite wines to share for Wine Wednesday, and I have yet to introduce it to a friend who didn’t like it! All the way from France, this rosé has hints of citrus and raspberry. This could be your new favourite wine!

3. Pixie Sparkling Rosé N/V
Bringing in the hints of peach, apricot and tangerine! This Rosé is described as off-dry and is a great addition to any picnic or patio day! Created by Rosehall Run Winery in Prince Edward County, this wine is a must try for this summer!

4. Trius Rosé 2019
Watermelon, current, and red berry are just some of the flavours in this dry rosé! This was created by the Trius Winery, one I have personally visited and highly recommend (you must try their gourmet pizzas if you do make the trek!).

5. Gérard Bertrand Côte des Roses Rosé
Again from France with the citrus, red fruit and herbal flavours! This extra dry rosé is perfect for any occasion (perhaps a hot sunny day!). In addition to the delicious wine inside, the bottle design is absolutely to die for. The prettiest wine I have ever drank, inside and out!

6. 2018 All Day Rosé
The only way to properly rosé is all day of course! This rosé is true to it’s name with the easy to sip flavours of strawberries and raspberries. This wine was created by Huff Estates Winery located in Prince Edward County!

Of course, this list couldn’t be complete without a Californian Wine! Apothic Wineries created this beautiful blend of strawberry, watermelon and wildflower (in addition to many others!) to create this perfectly dry wine! Perfect for sipping outside while reading a book!
