the mission

THE STORY: Cynspo started when I was in my early twenties. I had just started a new job working as a registered nurse, and was feeling a bit of post-graduation nerves. I felt like I needed a creative outlet to share my thoughts and little treasures I found along the way. Hence, Cynspo was born in November of 2018!

THE WHY: Out of all of my friends, I'm the 'yes girl' - the girl who wants to go on an adventure, try something new and of course, tell you all about it. When I realized I was always the girl who had a story to tell her friends, share something new I discovered or had a new hot place to check out, it solidified my decision to start Cynspo and continue to share. I love chasing new adventures & having fun, and I'm ready to tell you all about it!

THE ADVENTURE: Cynspo has challenged me to dive deeper into my hometown of Ottawa, as well as to check out surrounding areas and other corners of Ontario. I've had the opportunity to become intimately familiar with the Ottawa Valley and all of its glory (but I'm not done yet). Recently, I've expanded to exploring more Ontario gems, such as Prince Edward County and Niagara On The Lake (ahem, where all the wine is), and hope to get a chance to dive deeper into those areas.

THE GOAL: Like everything else I do, I want to do my best. I want to do my best at making you laugh, giving you the post you needed to read, and say the words you needed to hear. I want you to come to Cynspo to find comfort, and the inspiration to transform and challenge yourself. I want you to feel like you belong here, and that you can turn here when you need to the most. Here, you will find a cozy place where you feel all of your wildest dreams can and will come true. And of course, I want you to fall into my slight wine & winery obsession alongside me!
