About Cynthia
Hello! My name is Cyn and I’m the creator behind Cynspo. This little corner of the internet feels like I’m calling up my best friend to tell them something new, or share something heartfelt in my journal. I love sharing — the good, the bad and the not so pretty things. I think there’s something magical about holding space for all of these moments, and sometimes we need a reminder of that!
I started Cynspo back when I had graduated university and began working as a nurse. So much has changed since starting Cynspo, and I’m grateful to have gone through that experience. I’m equally grateful and excited as we get to walk through this new chapter together!
It’s no surprise that I love the colour pink, sunsets and red wine. I also love travelling, reading, hot yoga, Taylor Swift, and going on little adventures. I recently have gotten more into cooking, styling my place and making my life one that I absolutely adore. If any of these sound good to you, I have no doubt we’ll get along just fine!
CYNSPO: INSPIRING YOU TO LIVE A LIFE THAT SEEKS WELLNESS, SELF-FULFILMENT AND INTENTIONAL LIVING
By definition, wellness is ‘the quality or state of being healthy in body and mind, especially as the result of deliberate effort.’ What I love most about that definition is that it doesn’t include or exclude any specifics. What works for one person may not work for the next, and vice versa. Wellness is what you make it to be – whatever makes you your best, happiest, healthiest self. Wellness isn’t merely the absence of disease, it is a mind/body connection.
What I love about intentional living is that it’s when you decide to make a conscious effort to live a life in accordance with your values. Once you decide to live more intentionally, you create a space to invite wellness and well-being into all aspects of your life.
Cynspo was born out of the idea for me (Cyn) to inspire (inspo) others. It was a play on words for my one passion – showing you that you can create the life of your dreams, and find joy in each step of the way. I’m here to provide a source of inspiration—not to judge anyone for their choices. I believe in having a sense of humour, balance and moderation, and being able to laugh at yourself. I also believe in checking in with yourself, overcoming challenges, and choosing to change the things that are no longer serving you. Throughout this blog, you will find an underlying love letter to the person who hasn’t quite gotten where they want to be yet, but is on their way. And no matter what, we support that person at every step of the way. I see you, and I’m so glad you’re here.
